Emergency Rescue Plan and Techniques
If you work at heights, it is important that you have the correct training to perform the task safely and understand the risks involved. Our training course will provide you with the knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure that you understand your responsibilities and have the skills to work safely at height.
Course Overview
This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively to emergency situations involving suspended individuals after a fall in a workplace environment. Participants will learn about the principles of emergency response, risk assessment, rescue equipment, and techniques for safely recovering suspended individuals.

Unit Standards
Unit Standard: 23232: Prepare an emergency rescue plan and perform a rescue to recover a suspended individual after a fall in a work context. Level 4, Credit 5
Entry requirement: Employees involved in relevant tasks covered by the Unit Standard or those who hold Unit Standard 17600, 23229 and 15757 or rope access training.
Pre-requisite: Unit Standard 23229
