Working at Heights Stage 1

Course Information

Working at Heights Stage 1 is available online or delivered in-person by one of our experienced tutors. Our training course will provide you with the knowledge to ensure that you understand your responsibilities and understand how to work safely at height. Did you know that Investigations by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment into falls while working at height show that more than 50 percent of falls are from less than three metres and approximately 70 percent of falls are from ladders and roofs? The cost of these falls is estimated to be $24 million a year – to say nothing of the human cost as a result of these falls. If you use a fall arrest harness to work at height you may need Working at Heights Stage 2. For those who are required to supervise others working at height and/or set-up a fall arrest system you will require Working at Heights Stage 3
