Our Stage 2 advanced first aid course is a very popular first aid training course. It is designed for workplace first aid for many industries and is a prerequisite for further advanced first aid training.
This first aid course is recommended for senior staff, designated first aiders and health and safety managers. It is also recommended for managers of sports teams who may wish to provide a higher duty of care.

Our Stage 2 advanced first aid course is run by highly experienced, qualified trainers and provides the first aid training to prepare you for a wide range of situations. This course gives you the confidence and skills to help others in those situations quickly, correctly and efficiently.
Course Information
Our Stage 2 Advanced first aid course will help you to gain the confidence to provide first aid when it may be required for more than one patient in an emergency. Your first aid training will go over elements covered in our Stage One first aid course with some additional extras.
You will learn to assess and manage multiple patients for: shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries, poisonings, heart attack, asthma, stroke, seizure and diabetes.
You will also be able to provide basic life support through CPR and management of a foreign body airway obstruction (choking).
Duration – 1.5 days

What you will achieve
Level 1 – NZQA 6402 – Provide resuscitation level 2 – 1 Credit
Level 2 – NZQA 6401 – Provide first aid – 1 Credit
Level 3 – NZQA 6400 – Manage first aid in emergency situations – 2 Credits
