Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsements (W,T,R)
If you drive a special-type vehicle in public areas, you must have a W, T or R endorsement on your driver licence.
The course includes both theory and practical components and is completed in a half day (4 hours)
Pre-requisites:
Once you have completed the approved course you will be given a certificate (the certificate is not a valid endorsement on your licence). You must take this to an NZTA licensing agent (VTNZ or AA) and have your endorsement(s) put on your licence.

People credited with this unit standard are able to plan for and lift, move, and place loads using mobile plant in an infrastructure works environment.
Learn the principles for using mobile plant for lifting and moving loads; hazard management associated with slinging, lifting, moving, and placing loads; types and inspection of lifting attachments on mobile plant; lifting and slinging gear used with mobile plant; and communication for slinging, lifting, moving, and placing operations.
Recommended for workers who use mobile plant to lift loads.

Besafe Trainings Digger Operator course is a training program designed to teach individuals how to safely and effectively operate a digger or excavator. The course will cover topics such as machine safety, pre-operation checks, operating procedures, and basic maintenance. This is the course for you if you’re looking for a change of industry or just want to get more experience under the guidance of an industry professional.
This is a two-day course, you will also gain your Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsement.
During the course, participants will learn how to:
– Operate the digger in a safe and controlled manner
– Carry out pre-operation checks on the machine
– Plan and carry out digging and excavation tasks
– Use the machine to move and place materials
– Conduct basic maintenance tasks, such as greasing and fueling the machine
– Identify potential hazards and take appropriate safety measures
Upon completion, you will have gained your RTW endorsement and be issued with a certificate of competency.
