Course Category: r_Rollers, Tracks and Wheels Endorsement - RTW

If you operate special-type vehicles on public roads, you must hold the appropriate W, T, or R endorsement on your New Zealand driver licence.

Endorsement Categories:

• R (Rollers): For vehicles that operate on rollers.

• T (Tracks): For vehicles that operate on self-laying tracks.

• W (Wheels): For special-type wheeled vehicles excluding forklifts, passenger vehicles, tractors, fire engines, trade vehicles, or vehicle recovery service vehicles.

Course Overview:

• • Duration: Half-day (4 hours)

  • Delivery: Combination of theory and practical components

  • Certification: Issued upon successful completion (to be presented at an NZTA licensing agent such as VTNZ or AA for licence endorsement)
