If you operate special-type vehicles on public roads, you must hold the appropriate W, T, or R endorsement on your New Zealand driver licence.
Our course not only ensures you meet these legal requirements but also provides high-quality, hands-on training to build your confidence and competence on real machinery.
Endorsement Categories:

R (Rollers): For vehicles that operate on rollers.

T (Tracks): For vehicles that operate on self-laying tracks.

W (Wheels): For special-type wheeled vehicles excluding forklifts, passenger vehicles, tractors, fire engines, trade vehicles, or vehicle recovery service vehicles.

Entry Requirements
- Participant must hold a full class 1 licence
- Experience on relevant machine or having completed Machine Operator - Introduction
Once you have completed the approved course you will be given a certificate (the certificate is not a valid endorsement on your licence). You must take this to an NZTA licensing agent (VTNZ or AA) and have your endorsement(s) put on your licence.
