NZQA Unit Standards 31290 & 31293 – Meets Regulation 4.5 Training Requirements
This one-day in-person course equips learners with the essential knowledge and skills to safely handle, store, and manage hazardous substances in the workplace. Aligned to NZQA unit standards and Regulation 4.5 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017, the course supports compliance for both individuals and organisations who work with hazardous chemicals.
It is also a preparatory step for those requiring Certified Handler Certification—a requirement for those working with class 6.1A and 6.1B substances.
